Essence of Pasta

We could be able to destruct the essence of pasta and other dishes if we are going to obey the traditional rules we have in cooking. Let's take a read of the following myths.
  • Breaking long pasta into shorter pieces makes it easier to eat. It's really fun to eat the pasta twirling in our mouth and tongue. We admit that it is a challenge in eating pasta.
  • Add olive oil to the cooking water to keep the pasta from sticking. It is better not to eat a sticky one. Pasta isn’t that sticky if it's properly cooked.
  • Throw the pasta against the wall-if it sticks, it's done. All you have to do is just taste it.
  • Rinse pasta after cooking and draining. If you’re going to do this, pasta will be cold and rinse away the starch that helps bind the sauce.
  • It's all about the sauce. Don't put too much sauce in your pasta; you'll not going to taste the classic taste of it.

Trying not to do the traditional way of cooking pasta isn't that bad. If you are going to take these tips you'll know the differences of your old way and new way of cooking pasta. The important thing is you have the goal of giving your family or guests of the best pasta you prepared on them. Let's have the cliché that it's the thought that counts. [via shine.yahoo.com]
