Household cleaners, non-stick coockware, food containers and dishwashers bring toxic chemicals that can we inhale or ingest while having in the kitchen. Because of these chemicals we need to be equipped with the right things to do to avoid having sick from this kind of place.
First, choose safe household cleaners, choose a product that you really know the content. Make sure that you have seen the good and right ingredient that many people may not harm, most especially the children. The EPA categorized "inert" ingredients as causing long-term health damage and harm to the environment. These ingredients include solvents, dispersal agents, dyes and fragrances, some of which can pollute the air and water. Other ingredients that are not mentioned can be carcinogens or worsen health problems like allergies and asthma. You must try your own household cleaner; try hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and vinegar as alternatives.
Lastly, avoid Non-stick cookware. Sad to say that the source of air pollution in your kitchen is coming from your non-stick pots and pans. When heated, they don't give off an odor, even if that is the case, there will still be a problem. There is a toxic chemical in it called PFOA. It can cause cancer, liver damage, growth defects, and immune-system damage. The solution for this is you can use stainless steel, cast iron, ceramic titanium and porcelain enamelled cast iron, or if you still want to use non stick cookware, make sure you use it properly and moderately.
Being careful is the most important thing in doing something. Kitchen supply as food and because of it, we must always be careful of using tools so that we’ll not be having disease through not properly using those tools.
